Youth Paddle Sports Programme 2025- Outrigger Canoe (U19)

The sport of outrigger canoe paddling is a fast growing niche sport in Hong Kong. The sport has a long history in Tahitian, Polynesian and Hawaiian culture and this culture and tradition is past on from generation to generation and across oceans and continents. This is an open water endurance sport; learning how to surf, understanding how to move the canoe fast, as well as canoe care and rigging is all part of the sport. Fitness, open water confidence, team dynamics and a new love for the ocean and respect for the environment are some of the outcomes learnt from paddling a diverse range of canoe types. Every training session you will learn a new aspect about the sport, your own paddling, and connecting with your team mates on the water. Mahalo.

Course Fee (per person per session): $240

Dates: Saturdays on 16, 23 and 30 August 2025 (we will tell you next month schedule by end of the month and subject to schedule).

Time: 1100 to 1300hrs
