RHKYC will be offering a Dragon Boat Introduction course for new paddlers to learn the fundamental skills required to become a dragon boat paddler with Royal X.

Every new joiner with no dragon boat experience MUST ATTEND at least three of the four sessions prior to joining the development program. As well, new paddlers with limited dragon boat paddling experience (such as one year paddling only) are also encouraged and most welcome to join the course.

Content:
The course will be run in four sessions and will cover many aspects of paddling such as stroke technique, safety, team dynamics, seat roles, capsize drills, race starts and race pieces, calling the boat, and much more.

Age:
18 or above.

Course Dates and Time:
1st session - Wednesday 8 July at 0600 to 0730hrs. at Kellett Island and
2nd session - Saturday 11 July at 1300 to 1430hrs at Middle Island
3rd session - Wednesday 15 July at 0600 to 0730hrs. at Kellett Island and
Last session - Saturday 18 July at 1300 to 1430hrs at Middle Island

Course Fee (per person):
$1,850 (for RHKYC members)
$2,200 (for non-RHKYC members)

Class Size:
Max. 10 ppl (may increase the numbers subject to the requests)

Remarks:
No make up sessions will be offered.
