2024 October to December courses are currently open for enrolment!

A valid RHKYC Membership number must be provided when enrolling using the Member's option and price. Members rates and priority enrollment only applies to members and their immediate family. All others must enroll as non-members. Failure to provide a valid RHKYC membership number will result in your enrollment being cancelled. Enrollments made using the membership option will be billed to membership accounts.

Course Prerequisites: Participants must have an HKSF Level 2 Certificate and at least 20hrs of personal sailing

RHKYC Member - HKD1,800
Non Member - HKD2,800

Course Details:
Learn how to sail and race on of the most popular single-handed racing dinghies in the world.

This will be a 2-day program with the aim to take you through the basics of getting off the start line and round the course, introducing the basic racing rules and revising boat handling skills.

Minimum Age: 16

Duration: 2 Full Days

Course Times:

09:00 to 17:00hrs on weekends

10:00 to 18:00hrs on weekdays 

Location: RHKYC Middle Island Sail Training Centre

Course Inclusions: The cost of the course includes logbooks and certificates if necessary. Lunch is included for all full day courses with the exception of 'Distance Sail' courses.

Other Details:

All participants are required to be confident in the water whilst wearing a buoyancy aid. Buoyancy aids will be provided and must be worn at all times when on the water.
