2024 October to December courses are open for enrolment!

A valid RHKYC Membership number must be provided when enrolling using the Member's option and price. Members rates and priority enrollment only applies to members and their immediate family. All others must enroll as non-members. Failure to provide a valid RHKYC membership number will result in your enrollment being cancelled. Enrollments made using the membership option will be billed to membership accounts.

Course Prerequisites: Participants must have completed the Adult Beginner courses or hold a HKSF Level 2 Certificate.

Course Details: 

The Adult Dinghy Racing Development program is a regular coaching group on Sundays that helps sailors learn the basics of racing and compete in club racing with coaching support.

Course Fees: (From October - December)

Non Member - HKD12,000


Minimum Age: 16 

Duration: Full Day 

Course Times: Sundays 

09:00 to 16:45hrs 

Location: RHKYC Middle Island Sail Training Centre

Course Inclusions: The cost of the course includes logbooks and certificates if necessary. Lunch is included for all full day courses with the exception of 'Distance Sail' courses.

Other Details: 

All participants are required to be confident in the water whilst wearing a buoyancy aid. Buoyancy aids will be provided and must be worn at all times when on the water.
