Optimist usage for Summer Racing

During the summer this season there will be dinghy racing organised for anyone wishing to attend. You are able to select multiple dates you wish to attend and then go to check out once you have selected each of these dates. No refunds will be given if you decide not to use the boat you signed up for here.

Deadline:
Booking will close each Friday at 1200 hrs, 2 days before the race day is scheduled

Dates:
This racing will be held on Sunday afternoons. Some of these are organised by ABC and other sessions will be organised by an RHKYC coach as noted below:

- 26 June – ABC Racing

- 3 July

- 10 July – ABC Racing

- 17 July

- 24 July

- 31 July

- 7 August

- 14 August

- 21 August – ABC Racing

- 28 August

*Please note that booking boats through us does not enter you into the ABC Racing, you will still need to register here if you intend on joining these races.

What is included:
By signing up for this course you will have a RHKYC Instructor for safety in a RIB as well as a Fiberglass Optimist. The Optimist will include the following:

- - Fiberglass Optimist Hull – Complete with airbags, mainsheet, bailor, paddle

- - Foils

- - Mast, boom, sprit

*Please bring your own sail, sail ties, windex

Pricing:

- Members: $200 per day

- Non Members: $250 per day

Pre requisites:

Must have already competed in intermediate fleet or above Optimist regatta.
