J80 Club Racing Training Day

2025 July to December courses will open for enrolment on the following dates: 

RHKYC Members enrollment will open on 06 June 2025- 1700hrs

Non members enrollment will open on 20 June 2025 - 1700hrs

Course Prerequisites: Completion of the Keelboat Racing Crew Course.

Course Details:

The training days will be run when there are no other keelboat course scheduled. These days are to provide racing crew course graduates with more experience and consolidate skills. It is advisable for participants who have completed the race crew course to gain 5-10 days of experience either crewing on other boats, sailing the club boat or joining these training days prior to enrolling in the club helm course.

A valid RHKYC Membership number must be provided when enrolling using the Member's option and price. Members rates and priority enrollment only applies to members. All others must enroll as non-members. Failure to provide a valid RHKYC membership number will result in your enrollment being cancelled. Enrollments made using the membership option will be billed to membership accounts.

Course Fees:

RHKYC Member - HKD1,950
Non Member - HKD2,250

Minimum Age: 16

Duration: 1 Full Day

Course Times: 09:00 to 17:00hrs

Other Details:

All participants are required to be confident in the water whilst wearing a buoyancy aid. Buoyancy aids will be provided and must be worn at all times when on the water.
